SBS fined for exclusively airing World Cup
South Korea - The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) has imposed a fine of about US$1.64 million on SBS for monopolizing the relay of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Renewed surge of interest in Korean content
According to the governmental agency, Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), this year’s MIPTV saw a total of 50 audiovisual companies taking part in the Korean Pavilion ‘Created by Korea’.
