New Delhi - Some preliminary discussions have been held between some television channels and Doordashan (DD) for sharing the feed for the 2008 Olympics in China, for which the public broadcaster has exclusive rights for India. Jakarta – The Indonesian government has issued a decree restricting the Indonesian media from displaying foreign-made advertisements, say local reports. Government agency to monitor content on Indian TV
New Delhi - The government in India has launched an Electronic Media Monitoring Centre (EMMC) that can simultaneously track over 120 commercial television channels. The centre, located at Prasar Bharati office in IP Estate, will allow the information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry to monitor content in the Indian skies.
