The world’s top 100 marketers spent US$97.8 billion in global media in 2006, a slim 1.1% up on the previous year and a pronounced slowdown after a 5.1% increase in 2005 and a 12.1% jump in 2004. Seven clinches biggest ratings win since 1978
Sydney - Seven is the No. 1 network in Australia, registering its biggest win over arch-rival Nine since 1978. However the 2007 survey gave all broadcasters something to boast about—except Nine. Sydney - The subscription TV universe in Australia now reaches 31% of all Australian people and 27% of all Australian homes, equating to 6.1 million people and 2.01 million homes.
