Beijing—Focus Media, China’s largest overseas listed advertising firm, has acquired online advertising service firm Allyes for US$300 million, comprising US$70 million in cash and nearly 20 million newly issued Focus shares. Shanghai - Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and The Nielsen Company (Nielsen) are collaborating to measure usage of outdoor media and the internet, as well as the development of new media technology in China. Foxtel secures more satellite capacity
Sydney- FOXTEL has acquired six transponders on Optus' just-announced D3 satellite to deliver HD services, new channels and enhanced picture and sound quality.
