Singapore and Korea enter into co-production arrangement

Singapore– The Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) has entered into a co-production arrangement with the Korean Broadcasting Commission (KBC) to foster greater collaboration among Singaporean and Korean broadcasters and media companies. The agreement was signed on June 21 by the Chairman of KBC, Dr Cho Chang Hyun and MDA Chairman, Dr Tan Chin Nam in conjunction with BroadcastAsia 2007 held in Singapore. Steward departs in MTV Networks exec shuffle

Singapore- Christopher Steward, Executive Vice President, Viacom Brand Solutions and Southeast Asia, ‘has decided to leave’ MTV Networks in yet another executive reshuffle. Amit Jain has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Managing Director, MTV Networks India, China and Southeast Asia. CNBC launches new suite of mobile services

Singapore– CNBC has rolled out mobile services including WAP and SMS products, available to operators and subscribers in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China and Malaysia at launch. It also signed up Nokia and StarHub as distributors of the new offerings. Basic and premium WAP service packages are available. MediaCorp unveils projects at Shanghai Television Festival
