Joss Whedon to direct new Marvel TV series
Marvel Entertainment announced that Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel Studios for film and television through the end of June 2015. As part of that deal, Whedon will write and direct The Avengers 2 as well as help develop a new live-action series for Marvel Television at Disney’s ABC. James Bond gets dedicated TV channel
London – Satellite broadcaster BSkyB is launching a dedicated James Bond movie channel on October 5. Roger Mosey is Acting Director of BBC Vision
BBC Director-General Mark Thompson announced that Roger Mosey, the BBC's current Director of London 2012, has been appointed Acting Director of BBC Vision. In an email to BBC staff, Thompson said Mosey will assume his new position on August 20. Dave Gordon, currently the head of major events at BBC Sport, will take over Mosey’s role as Director.
