Singapore – Channel NewsAsia has sealed deals for several of its high definition television programmes to be distributed internationally. The partnerships were announced at MIPTV, taking place in the French city of Cannes. The programmes, produced at a cost of more than US$3.3 million, include Sun Tzu: War On Business, Asia’s Monarchies, If Food Runs Out, Kungfu Kitchen, Designed by Love and Asian Diaspora – More or Less Chinese developed in Singapore, for the channel. They will be distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide, Indigo Films & TV, Bomanbridge, Off the Fence and MediaCorp Content Distribution Division. The titles, which cover a range of genres including history, reality and info-tainment, comprise more than 23 hours of high-quality programmes.
