Singapore – Channel NewsAsia‘s reality TV competition with an epicurean twist, The Perfect Meal, returns for a second season this year. Commissioned by Miele in their pursuit of – immer besser, meaning forever better, The Perfect Meal Asia challenges six accomplished Asian chefs to compete in the spirit of the Asian Cuisine. They will be tasked to pit their skills against one another and whip up dishes instantly reminiscent of Asia and its melting pot of customs and traditions. The level of competition intensifies as the numerous challenges culminate in the season finale, where two remaining chefs battle it out to put together the titular -Perfect Meal Asia. Channel NewsAsia will telecast The Perfect Meal Asia as an eight-episode weekly series from 4 September 2010 (Saturday) at 9.30pm (Singapore/HK time).
