Hong Kong – TurnOut Ventures Limited, a digital media and content company based in Hong Kong, has appointed Caroline Casey as executive director of operations. A media industry and Turner Broadcasting veteran, Casey will oversee TurnOut Ventures’ day-to-day operations, as well as the company’s growing product portfolio, which includes the iconic internet phenomenon Tuzki and expanding catalogue of massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs). Casey is also responsible for developing TurnOut Ventures Limited’s future product strategy and managing functional groups responsible for game publishing, sales and marketing, and customer service. Casey reports directly to Benjamin Grubbs, general manager, TurnOut Ventures Limited. Prior to joining TurnOut Ventures Limited, Casey was regional digital director for Turner Broadcasting System Inc., Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where she oversaw 25 websites, as well as gaming activities across the internet, and mobile and IPTV initiatives for Turner’s Cartoon Network, [adult swim], truTV, TCM, TNT, Boomerang and Cartoonito brands. Before joining Turner in London, Casey was a broadcast news producer and online editor for CNN in Hong Kong.
