Hong Kong – Celestial Pictures announced an output deal with a major producer and distributor of Chinese movies for its flagship channel Celestial Movies (CM). An exclusive multi-year output deal with Distribution Workshop (HK) Limited (Distribution Workshop) has been concluded by Celestial to secure the exclusive first-run pay-TV rights of hit Chinese movies for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. The deal also includes pay-per-view and VOD (video-on-demand) rights. The agreement with Distribution Workshop covers the entire slate of Chinese movies they distribute including the upcoming 3-D martial arts extravaganza, Flying Swords of Dragon Gate (working title), by iconic director Tsui Hark and starring Jet Li and Zhou Xun; the Chinese remake of the hit Hollywood movie, What Women Want starring Andy Lau and Gong Li; as well as the comedy Treasure Inn, directed by Wong Jing and starring Nicholas Tse, Charlene Choi and Cheung Ka Fai.
