Manila – The Associated Broadcast Company (ABC) of The Philippines and Metra Information Limited (Metra) of New Zealand signed an agreement in Manila for the provision of Metra’s world-leading weather graphics system, Weatherscape XT, to ABC’s national network, TV5. The Philippines is well used to extreme and varied weather conditions and with the signing of the ABC/Metra agreement, TV5 has taken the lead among the country’s major national networks in providing much needed, sophisticated weather reporting to audiences all across The Philippines. Metra is a subsidiary of the Meteorological Service of New Zealand Limited and is a world leader in weather forecasting products and services.
