Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia’s Wingspan Group has appointed Adam Ham, former MDeC Entertainment & Media Specialist as executive director of Global Creative & Media Agency (GCMA) and AppXplore to help spur the economic growth of the digital content industry in Asia. During his 10 years with MDeC, Ham was a prominent industry ambassador who successfully rebranded and enhanced Malaysia’s strong positioning and competitive advantage as the up-coming and significant player in the global digital content industry, especially for animation, post-production, visual effects, new media and game development. Bringing his experience and business networks from the industry, Ham will scontinue contributing and assisting Malaysia and promote the Asian content development, co-productions, distribution and investment opportunities in partnerships with the governments in the region. AppXplore, a subsidiary of Wingspan Group of Companies, will be the state-of-the-art studio in Malaysia developing games for the next generation new media platform, such as Apple iOS, Android, and Windows 7.
