New York – Rainbow Media Global has ramped up its international department with the appointment of two New York based executives. Sally Habbershaw will oversee scheduling, acquisitions and promotions for Rainbow Media’s international properties, including Sundance Channel and WE tv, reporting to Harold Gronenthal, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Rainbow Media Global. Jennie Morris will oversee affiliate marketing across Rainbow’s global markets and will report to Ed Palluth, Senior Vice President Global Distribution. Habbershaw has an extensive background in broadcast and cable television, both domestically and abroad for leading media companies including Viacom, Paramount and NBC Europe. Most recently, she was Director of Development at VH1 USA where she was integral to the network achieving its best ratings historically during her tenure. Morris transitions into this new role from the Programming and Operations division of Sundance Channel domestic where she planned and scheduled all dayparts on Sundance Channel. Prior to Sundance Channel, Morris was a Senior Manager at Showtime in both their New Media and International Business Development divisions.
