Hong Kong – Tiger Gate Entertainment announced a carriage deal for its KIX channel with the new Indonesian satellite pay-TV operator PT. Cipta Skynindo (Skynindo). KIX will be included in Skynindo’s basic package starting April 1. KIX is a 24-hour channel featuring both Asian and international movies, TV series, anime, documentaries and a line-up of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) championships from around the world. Tiger Gate is a partnership among the world’s largest independent film studio Lionsgate Entertainment and Saban Capital Group. Tiger Gate also operates Thrill, a suspense, thriller, and horror movie channel specifically geared for Asian audiences. In addition to Indonesia, KIX and Thrill are also available in Singapore and Hong Kong . Indonesia was the first country to debut KIX and Thrill in 2009. Skynindo represents the first of many new platform partnerships in Indonesia for the channels in 2011, according to Tiger Gate.
