London – Travel Channel International launches today on Singapore’s mio TV. The programming lineup will include shows such as World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides, Trabant Trek, Planet Sports, Indian Times, and Inside Luxury Travel. “Our customers have always indicated that travel is a category that they are passionate about,” said Mr Goh Seow Eng, Chief, Digital Home, SingTel. “We actively seek to provide a well-rounded selection of content to enrich our customers’ viewing and the addition of Travel Channel, with its high quality content is testament to this.” Geoff Ellis, Chief Operating Officer, Travel Channel International added, “There is an incredible appetite for our particular brand of world-class travel-related programming from audiences in Singapore, and we anticipate that this launch will represent the first of many more in the region.” The Travel Channel launched last year on New Zealand’s SKY TV and is also available in Malaysia on TM Net’s Hypp IPTV platform.
