California – TONKA, the Hasbro brand that for 65 years has stood for its line of toy trucks for children, will be having a fully animated motion picture featuring toy trucks, to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation, Hasbro and Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Production.

The film will also be produced and developed by Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, Hasbro’s senior vice president and managing director of motion pictures, based on screenplay written by Fred Wolf.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen the relationship between Sony Pictures and Hasbro, with Sony developing motion pictures based on Hasbro’s RISK and CANDY LAND brands as well. CANDY LAND will also be a Happy Madison project.
