Taipei, Taiwan, and New York – Taiwan’s CNS has launched Sundance Channel (Channel 323) and WE tv (Channel 314) in HD on October 10 as part of its growing IPTV service. This has expanded Sundance Channel and WE tv’s carriage in the country, with CNS customers having access to the 24/7 linear channels in HD, with Mandarin subtitles.

We’re thrilled to launch on CNS and look forward to sharing our hit content with Taiwanese audiences.”
The company also announced the addition of Keith Mak who will oversee affiliate distribution and marketing for Sundance Channel and WE tv in Asia. To be based out of Hong Kong, Mak will report to Ed Palluth, Executive Vice President, Global Distribution, AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
Prior to his new position, Mak was Senior Director, TV Network Distribution for Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the sales and distribution of the CTE channel portfolio in the Asia Pacific region. Before that, Mak served at BBC Worldwide as a Manager of Distribution and Development for East Asia, where he was responsible for the sales and distribution of BBC branded channels with main responsibilities in Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia.
