Viki has launched a premium YouTube channel for K-dramas from SBS and Group 8, offering YouTube viewers nearly 100 hours of free Korean TV dramas including popular titles Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss. Viki will also debut an exclusive, on-air TV series called Full House Take 2.

According to Viki, the channel is available worldwide except in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Macau. 

This is the second premium YouTube channel that Viki launched in just over a month. It first launched a premium anime channel with Tezuka titles in September. On both channels, YouTube viewers benefit from the Viki content, which is licensed (in most cases) worldwide, with subtitles contributed by its community of fans who translate the shows in up to 150 languages. 

In addition to announcing the new YouTube channel, Viki also released its Q3 momentum numbers. The website is approaching 15 million viewers per month; added 3 million viewers this quarter; recorded 1.7 million mobile subscriber installations; translated more than 300 million words; and saw continued growth in Southeast Asia with regards to content, strategic partnerships and apps.
