London – HIT Entertainment, a children’s entertainment producer and rights owner, has announced that its Hong Kong office has secured a raft of TV sales for 100 hours of programming to Asia, Australia and New Zealand for pre-school properties Mike the Knight, Thomas & Friends and Fireman Sam.
The CGI series that follows cheeky medieval character Mike the Knight (52 x 12’) will air in South East Asia and Hong Kong on Disney Junior. HIT Entertainment has also secured a deal for Thomas & Friends and Fireman Sam in Vietnam as HTV3 has signed the entire 16 series library of Thomas & Friends and series 1-8 of the fearless fire fighter Fireman Sam. In New Zealand, TVNZ has acquired Mike the Knight and series 8 of Fireman Sam. The deal will see TV2 air both Fireman Sam series 1-8 and Mike the Knight shows early this year.
