Studio 100 International has announced that the action-adventure CGI feature film “Giants of La Mancha” has been honored with several prestigious awards and nominations across various international film festivals.
“Giants of La Mancha”, a German-Argentinian co-production by Studio 100 International (Germany), GF Films (Argentina) and M.A.R.K.13 – COM (Germany), received a Golden Eagle Statuette for the Best Animated Film (for audiences 12 years old and younger) at the Children’s Cinema Awards (CAA) in Amsterdam, a film festival which showcases and promotes films for children and teenagers. It has also won the Best Animation (long feature) prize at the Vancouver International Movie Awards, which celebrates the very best in independent and avant-garde cinema from around the world.
Further to these two great awards, “Giants of La Mancha” has also been nominated at five additional festivals:
- Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids, Salt Lake City, for Feature Film
- Beijing International Children’s Film Festival, Beijing, for International Feature
- Septimius Awards, Amsterdam, for Best Animation Film 2024 (selected under the title of “Storm Crashers”)
- World Festival of Animated Film, Varna (Bulgaria), for Feature Film
- Hispanic International Film Festival, Delaware, for Animado – Animated (June 2025)
