Along with the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, the U.S., and the Middle East, Talpa Studios’ Million Dollar Island marks its next territory in Romania. The groundbreaking adventure show was developed through a creative partnership with Monday Media.

After a successful second season in the Netherlands on SBS6 and Amazon Prime, the trailblazing show has been commissioned by Kanal D and will be produced in-house. The casting has already started and thousands of applicants have signed up to participate in this intense competition. The show – which is called ‘Insula de 1 milion’ in Romania – is set to air on Kanal D.
