Singapore – mio TV has announced two new offerings. The operator launches a new channel – CCTV-9 Documentary (mio TV Channel 211), as well a new on-demand channel – Li (Catch-Up) (mio TV Channel 266) today. Both channels are available to current Family+ Pack customers at no extra charge.
CCTV-9 Documentary features award-winning English documentaries from China’s top broadcaster. It is China’s only national channel dedicated to documentaries with programmes on nature, history, biography and contemporary topics that are close to the hearts of Chinese people around the world. The channel will be available on free preview to all mio TV customers until 1 May.
Li (Catch-Up) is an on-demand channel that allows customers to catch their favourite lifestyle programmes from Li HD (mio TV Channel 265) at their own time. Viewers can choose from a selection of programmes such as The Maverick Chef, Cooked, My Design Life, Cupcake Wars and Singaporean Foodie, Finds Korean Food.
Separately, mio TV will also be introducing the new Metro Pack on April 2. It is tailored for viewers who appreciate specialty entertainment channels such as fashiontv HD (M18) (mio TV Channel 271), fashiontv HD On Demand (M18) (mio TV Channel 272) and the recently-added Comedy Central Asia HD (mio TV Channel 324).
