CameraOne has announced the opening of its new office in Europe, together with significant senior management team appointments in both Weiden, Germany and Los Angeles.
In the three years since its launch, CameraOne has built an enviable reputation for having the latest kit, the highest levels of service and competitive pricing. This reputation has been hard-earned and will be the core of CameraOne’s global offerings.
CameraOne’s new European HQ – based in Weiden, Germany – will continue the simple business ethos: designed from the ground up to deliver everything the customer needs. The purpose-built space will launch with an inventory of more than $3m of cameras, lenses and accessories all backed with CameraOnes’s 24/7 service operation.
CameraOne is a people-first brand with a strong collaborative ethos. The willingness of their team to go above and beyond for their clients is unrivalled. Extraordinary service is the standard, not the exception.
To support the evolution of CameraOne, several new appointments have been made, bringing proven industry experience to their new European HQ and the team in Los Angeles.
CameraOne Europe
Two industry veterans are joining the team to help build Europe’s #1 sub-rental business. Alexander Schwarz and James S Bouchie are names that will already be familiar to many of our clients.
Alex earned his MSc in Computer Science and began his career in the film industry by developing one of the leading Video Assist Systems. He then became the Senior Director of Key Accounts at a major camera rental house. In 2013, he was invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) and continues to be an active Associate Member.
James has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the film industry and 20 years of experience working in academia. An American that has lived for over 25 years in Europe, James has worked alongside Alexander since 2014 and together they form an impressive team dedicated to the success of CameraOne in Europe.
In addition, Jacob Alatise has joined the team to expand CameraOne’s global reach. Jacob is well-known in Europe through his multiple years of experience working at Video Europe and will take on the role of Global Sales, a journey he is excited to begin.
