Salzburg, Austria / Gurgaon, India – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) has entered into partnership with Red Bull Media House on the Indian Subcontinent. The partnership will focus on bringing differentiated and compelling factual and lifestyle programming across a variety of genres.
Highlights of the partnership include exclusive rights to the film Where the Trail Ends, a global cycling spectacle shot over three years with pioneering pro mountain bikers, and the groundbreaking snowboarding film The Art of Flight, which sold out premieres in over 20 countries and earned number-one position on iTunes in the first week of its release. DNAP (South Asia) will also air The Art of Flight series that goes behind the scenes of the movie with its star Travis Rice; and Danny MacAskill’s Imaginate, a programme that takes viewers inside the most ambitious and innovative project yet from the popular Scottish trials rider, whose previous web-based clips have had more than 30 million hits.
