Hilversum – After 55 successful local productions of the high profile vocal talent competition, Angola and Chile will now join the long list of Voice countries.
At MIPTV, the award-winning format was sold to Banda TV in Angola, to be aired in Angola and Mozambique in the Portuguese language. The Voice was also sold to Canal 13 in Chile, where it will launch in the spring of 2015.
The record-breaking show is currently being watched on every continent and airing in more than 160 countries. It’s attracting more than 500 million viewers worldwide, has more than 19 million Facebook fans and 6 million Twitter followers. It has garnered many of the world’s most prestigious TV awards, including last year’s high profile Emmy Award win in the U.S.
