Toronto – Leading children’s content producer and distributor Portfolio Entertainment has signed its first-ever deal with China’s prestigious iQiYi Kids video-on-demand platform.  86 half hours of Portfolio’s highest profile, animated preschool series CITH and DOKI, will run on the service in Mandarin.

The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! (60 x 30’) and DOKI (26 x 30’) both air throughout Asia.  “Mainland China has a very robust digital environment, and millennial parents gravitate to the internet and SVOD’s specifically for high quality educational content for their kids.  iQiYi is the perfect home for these two iconic series.” says Co-Founder and CEO, Joy Rosen. Both Portfolio series are laced with humour, adventure and science and nature themes.  The series are dubbed into Mandarin and also subtitled in English so that viewers can learn English while watching.
