MUMBAI – Amazon announced a brand new comedy lineup with six new comedy series created by some of India’s top comedians.  Set to debut on Amazon Prime Video, and produced by OML (Only Much Louder), the new comedy series will release exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting now till February 2018.  Building on the tremendous success of Amazon’s 14 Stand-Up Comedy Specials already on Prime Video, the new series will be from creators like comedians Anuvab Pal, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sumukhi Suresh, Varun Thakur, Kenny Sebastian and Zakir Khan.

Commenting on the new comedy lineup, Vijay Subramaniam, Director, Content, Amazon Prime Video India, said, “Customers have told us how much they enjoyed Stand-Up Comedy Specials on Prime Video and we have been the leaders in defining this space for local Stand-Up comedy.  So, we’re now set to launch a brand new comedy offering, created by some of the same comedians.  In collaboration with OML, we’re excited to introduce six new comedy shows available exclusively and on-demand on Amazon Prime Video.”

The brand new comedy series, includes Going Viral Private Limited created by Anuvab Pal, Lakhon Mein Ek created by Biswa Kalyan Rath, P.G. (working title) created by Sumukhi Suresh, Shaitaan Haveli created by Varun Thakur, Die Trying created by Kenny Sebastian and Making of Sakht Launda (Working Title) created by Zakir Khan.
