Y Gwyll/Hinterland
Welsh National broadcaster, S4C, will air a brand new one-off special episode of Y Gwyll/Hinterland (1 x 120’) on 1st January 2015. The story continues in this stand-alone episode ahead of the second series, which is due to air on the channel later on in the year.
The two-hour New Year ’s Day special follows on from the extremely popular first series of Y Gwyll/Hinterland, which saw DCI Tom Mathias (Richard Harrington) and his team, investigate dark crimes in the haunting seaside town of Aberystwyth.
Broadcast first on S4C last year and subsequently on BBC Cymru Wales, BBC Four and broadcasters throughout Europe, series one’s finale saw DCI Tom Mathias – a brilliant yet troubled former London Met detective – pushed to the edge.
