TV was never the same and the world created by Lynch and Mark Frost, with the sublime music by Angelo Badalamenti, still cast s a spell on many and has a following of millions of fans around the world. Now it is happening again, with the long-awaited SHOWTIME limited event series, Twin Peaks, premiering exclusively in Portugal on TVSéries, May 28.
Directed entirely by David Lynch, the 18-part series picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned when their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. The new Twin Peaks is written and executive produced by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, and is executive produced by Sabrina S. Sutherland.
Original cast members confirmed to appear in the new Twin Peaks include Kyle MacLachlan, reprising the iconic role of FBI Agent Dale Cooper, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, David Duchovny, Sherilyn Fenn, Miguel Ferrer, James Marshall, Ray Wise, and David Lynch, among many others. New cast members include Monica Bellucci, Naomi Watts, Laura Dern, Tim Roth, and Jim Belushi, among others. The attached document includes all 217 cast members appearing in the new Twin Peaks.
