Singapore – Starting this January with a brand new HBO Original drama series, Togetherness (12 January on HBO), and new seasons of Girls (January 12 on HBO) and Cinemax action series, Banshee (10 January on CINEMAX), HBO Asia has announced a line-up of new programmes – feature film Bessie, documentary series Project Greenlight and new HBO Original series The Brink and Ballers – all of which will premiere 2015 in Asia, less than a day of their U.S. debut.

New home of the Oscars® and the only regional cable television network to broadcast the Academy Awards® in Asia, HBO Asia will present the complete Oscars® experience, with all Oscars® programmes broadcast live – beginning with the nominations announcement (15 January), followed by the red carpet segments, the 87th Academy Awards® show and for the first time ever, backstage access to the Oscar® winners (23 February).

2015 will also see the much-awaited return of HBO’s hit series, Game of Thrones and True Detective, along with new seasons of Veep, Silicon Valley, The Leftovers, and CINEMAX Original – The Knick and Strike Back.
