Screen Actors Guild Awards®
Singapore – RTL CBS Asia Entertainment HD announced that it has secured exclusive regional pay-TV broadcast rights for the Screen Actors Guild Awards®. More popularly known as the SAG Awards®, the Screen Actors Guild Awards® is the only televised awards show to exclusively honour actors. RTL CBS Entertainment HD will air the awards ceremony live on 26 January at 9am.
The Screen Actors Guild Awards® presents thirteen awards rewarding best performances in films and television productions in a fast moving two-hour show. The awards focus on both individual performances as well as on the work of entire ensembles of drama and comedy series and film casts. Other highlights of the Screen Actors Guild Awards® include the SAG Life Achievement Award, presented to an established performer for fostering the highest ideals of the acting profession, and tributes to the varied talents of the Screen Actors Guildâ€American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
RTL CBS Entertainment HD is the new home for award ceremonies: the Critics’ Choice Awards, the Billboard Music Awards®, the Hollywood Film Awards®, the People Magazine Awards®, the American Music Awards® and the Golden Globe Awards®.
