Cannes– Studio 100 Media has secured a Home Video and VOD deal with Svensk Filmindustri for Studio 100’s revived CGI series Heidi. The animation is already airing successfully across Scandinavia on NRK Super in Norway and on MTV3’s kids channel Juniori in Finland and will go on air in Sweden later this year on SVT Barnkanlen.

The new agreement gives Svensk Filmindustri the exclusive Home Video rights for the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland. The DVD/TVOD/EST release is scheduled for September 2016. The SVOD release on SF Kids Play will follow in summer 2017.
