Cologne- Discovery Networks Asia Pacific has acquired a 12-hour factual content package which includes the series Hot Roads – The World’s Most Dangerous Roads and Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places, in a deal with Germany’s Autentic Distribution.

Hot Roads is an international co-production from Germany’s Berlin producers, Autentic and LIC from China. Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places was also co-produced by Autentic and LIC together with German producer Eikon. It was shot in various national parks in Asia and spots the compelling nature with stories about their inhabitants.

Next to the series the package contains two one-off shows: Java in Jeopardy – Exploring the Volcano by German production company Hoferichter & Jacobs and Little Train, another international co-production from Autentic, German broadcaster NDR and LIC China.
