FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) signed a home entertainment deal for Prehistoric Park in China with CAV Warner Entertainment Co., a joint venture between Warner Home Video and China Audio & Video Publishing House. Amrita Sindhu, Vice President, Asia, Home Entertainment clinched the deal, a first for FME’s programming to be released via a Hollywood studio’s distribution arm. With the series currently on air in China on CCTV, CAV Warner has launched the DVD in the territory to tap into the brand awareness within the market. Created by UK independent producer Impossible Pictures, the 6 x 60’ Prehistoric Park features natural historian Nigel Marven, who travels back in time to rescue prehistoric animals and advanced CGI technology. In Asia, home entertainment deals for Prehistoric Park have been inked with SPO Inc. (Japan), Kenny & Co. (Korea), Times International (Taiwan), Archer Entertainment (Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia) and United Home Entertainment (Thailand).
