Sydney- Denise Eriksen is departing as ABV-TV’s Head of Factual Production when her contract expires in September as her job is disappearing in an ongoing management restructure at the public broadcaster. ABC TV is advertising for the new position of Executive Head of Children’s, responsible for all aspects of the ABC’s children’s and education services on ABC TV, ABC2 and ABC online, including in-house production, commissioning programmes from independents, international and local acquisitions for ABC TV and ABC2 children’s blocks, plus programming the ABC TV and ABC2 blocks. It’s unclear whether Claire Henderson, ABC TV’s long-serving Head of Children’s, will apply for the new position; she will remain in place until a new appointment is made.
