Singapore – Manu Sawhney has been promoted to Managing Director, ESPN STAR Sports with immediate effect. He succeeds Jamie Davis who has resigned from the company. Company says Davis will continue to serve as a consultant to ensure a seamless leadership transition. Appointment was announced by Russell Wolff, Managing Director, ESPN International and Paul Aiello, Chief Executive Officer. Sawhney joined ESPN STAR Sports in 1996 as a Marketing Manager and is promoted to MD from Executive Vice President of Programming and Marketing.
