Singapore – Broadband entertainment services provider, WOWtv, the latest offering from M2B World, has entered the pay-TV fray in Singapore. WOWtv offers a range of broadband streaming content accessible via four platforms including the Internet, set-top box, portable media player and 3G. Subscribers get an all-access pass to view movies and entertainment programs whenever, wherever, and for as many times as desired, without pre-programmed schedules. Viewers can also view advertisements targeted specifically to their needs. WOWtv features more than 50 channels across genres including movies, Asian dramas and variety shows, travel, lifestyle, fashion, edutainment, and sports. Online games and e-commerce services are also available. Subscribers can access more than 25 channels across genres on the free tier. Premium programming is available in two tiers: Basic provides an additional 16 channels at $S40 ($US27.50) a year; while Value offers a la carte channels and current premium pay-per-view movies, each priced from S$1 – 2 ($US0.70 – 1.40)
