London – Louise Terry has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President Human Resources, NBC Universal International, effective Jan 2, 2008. Based in London, Terry will report to Peter Smith, President, NBCU International, and will functionally report to Kevin Lord, New York-based SVP Human Resources, NBCU. Terry will spearhead international HR initiatives and strategy for NBCU in partnership with HR leaders in each business and in support of international expansion plans. She will coordinate HR efforts across all of the company’s divisions. Also, Terry will oversee HR strategy for NBCU Global Networks led by Roma Khanna and International TV Distribution outside the US led by Belinda Menendez, whilst Alex Bonnor-Moris, VP, HR, will maintain direct HR client responsibility for these groups. In addition, she will work with other key HR executives with international responsibilities, including Ken Kahrs, EVP, HR, Universal Studios and Nikki Gonzalez, VP, HR, CNBC. She will also serve as a team member on the extended HR staff of Marc Chini, EVP, HR, NBCU. Terry was formerly Commercial HR Business Partner with GE Healthcare Medical Diagnostics across Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
