Singapore/Hong Kong – Sony Ericsson and MTV have launched MTV Music Revolution, a new 30-min weekly program that features new music videos from genres including pop, rock, dance, hip hop, indie and R&B. MTV Music Revolution provides viewers with updates on the music movement and interactivity across TV and online platforms, as well as coverage of street marketing activities in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Premiering in Jan 2008, MTV Music Revolution will be an interactive, VJ-hosted show which has online voting for music videos, and a game segment that brings music to the streets for different music experience through Sony Ericsson Walkman mobile phones. Participants access music by shaking the handset and finger touch navigation.
