(J:COM) has announced appointments to its board of directors and statutory auditors, approved at the February 29, 2008 board of directors meeting, with the changes to be on the agenda for J:COM’s 14th general meeting of shareholders scheduled for March 27, 2008. Nominated to the board of directors are Tomoya Aoki, chief financial officer, general manager, corporate planning & strategy unit, corporate planning & strategy division and accounting & finance division, Jupiter Telecommunications Co., Ltd.; Makoto Nakamura, executive officer, general manager, finance department., assistant general manager, financial resources management group, Sumitomo Corporation; as well as Masatoshi Hayashi, statutory auditor, Jupiter Telecommunications Co., Ltd., corporate officer, general manager, planning & administration department, media, network & lifestyle retail business unit, Sumitomo Corporation. Nominated to the J:COM board of statutory auditors is Hitoshi Nagase, assistant to general manager, planning & administration deparment, media, network & lifestyle retail business unit, Sumitomo Corporation. Resigning from J:COM’s are directors Akira Ito, Shingo Yoshii, and Seiichi Morimoto; as well as statutory auditor Masatoshi Hayashi.
