Turner Entertainment Networks Asia, Inc. (TENA) has appointed Benjamin J. Grubbs to the newly-created position of regional director, interactive media, to lead its interactive media development strategy. Grubbs oversees development and management of TENA’s interactive business and will focus on creating and executing first-in-market initiatives, following the company’s recent investments in its online offerings to provide targeted ‘websumer’ interaction. He will also facilitate audience aggregation through interactive applications to extend the presence of Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, POGO, Boomerang and HBO India, as well as interactive entertainment content across multiple platforms. Grubbs was most recently eBay’s marketing director for Hong Kong and Macau, and has ten years of experience in Internet, broadcast, cable, radio, film, and publishing media.
