Hilversum – Endemol International has unveiled the slate of formats to be available for the first time at MIPTV 2008. The Best Years of Our Lives is a history-based variety format that pits members of two generations against each other. Endemol Italy’s production of the show took top ratings on Rai Uno in Italy. From Endemol UK are factual entertainment formats Real Women and Supersize vs. Superskinny. The former sees a celebrity challenging stereotypes as average women are placed into high profile advertising and modeling jobs. The latter explores people’s dysfunctional relationship with food. From Endemol Spain is talent show format Your Big Day, which looks set to be commissioned for a second series on Telecinco following its successful first run. New formats from Talpa Media will also be available. Divided is a new game show where the winnings depend on fast, unanimous decisions with strangers. I Love My Country is a game show format that tests contestants’ knowledge of their country. Blind Love is dating show which takes place in complete darkness. Formats which debuted at NATPE 2008 will also feature at MIPTV including Endemol UK’s The One and Only…, a talent show which aired on BBC one, as well as Endemol France’s Ultimate Mind Quiz, a family game show which challenges mental dexterity with visual questions. Other highlights include established game show formats 1 vs. 100, Balls of Gold, Set for Life, Show Me The Money, The Last Passenger and The Fever; entertainment formats The Kids Are All Right and Circus of the Celebrities, as well as Talpa Media formats Let’s go Shopping and M/F.
