Kuala Lumpur – MEASAT announced it had signed a contract to provide satellite capacity to the INTERSPUTNIK International Organization of Space Communications (Intersputnik). In the agreement, Intersputnik will lease capacity on the AFRICASAT-1 satellite to provide satellite services into the Africa region. The contract was signed within the framework of the Distribution Agreement that appoints Intersputnik as an non-exclusive distributor of transponder capacity on the AFRICASAT-1 satellite.
