Cannes, MIPTV – Discovery Communications announced international programme sales and home video agreements for the series Deadliest Catch and Man Vs. Wild. In addition to airing on Discovery Channel in 357 million homes and 170 countries around the world, Deadliest Catch also airs in Australia on Network Ten, and will soon be available on home video in Australia by Magna Home Entertainment and Time Life. Man Vs. Wild is broadcast in New Zealand on Sky Network Television. The series is also available on home video in Australia by Magna Home Entertainment. Deadliest Catch follows men who do one of the deadliest jobs in the world – crab fishing in the Bering Sea. Man Vs. Wild follows adventurer Bear Grylls as he uses military training to demonstrate survival skills in extreme terrain and weather conditions.
