Los Angeles – Bennett Media Worldwide, a leader in male-targeted content, announced a broadband licensing agreement of its MEN7 brand to SyQic Capital, a Malaysian-based media group regarded as the top broadband TV solutions and content provider in Asia. The 150 hours of content in the MEN7 Digital Network will become part of SyQic’s rich media broadband TV platform YOONIC. The delivery has started in Malaysia in February and will extend to Indonesia no later than May 2009. SyQic retains an option to license the MEN7 brand in its other immediate prospective territories of The Philippines, Singapore and Colombia. The HD video content from Bennett Media to SyQic will include 150 hours of long and short-form programming, accompanying editorial copy, promotional clips, graphics, publicity and advertising materials, and extensive research on men’s program preferences on non-linear platforms.
