Culver City, CA/London – Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) announced the promotion of two key London-based licensing executives – Olga Nechaeva to vice president of EMEA emerging markets, and Guy Katz to vice president of Asia Pacific/ Latin America emerging markets. The promotions were announced by Norman Tajudin, vice president, international at SPHE, to whom both positions will report. “The promotions are part of our larger organizational strategy centralizing our team in London, allowing them to further drive focus and intensity across our global portfolio,” said Tajudin. Nechaeva was promoted to her new post from her previous role as director of EMEA licensing & marketing at SPHE. Since joining the company in 1999, she has worked in sales and marketing roles in EMEA licensing based in Moscow and London. Katz joined SPHE’s Culver City-based licensing team in 1998 and relocated to London in 2005. In his previous role as director of licensing, Katz revitalized SPHE’s business in the Eastern Europe region.
