Seoul – South Korea’s presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae will introduce a special advisor post on information technology for President Lee Myung-bak and is now searching for a suitable candidate, his spokeswoman has said, as reported by Yonhap News Agency. “Cheong Wa Dae has decided to create the special advisor post to handle information technology affairs and has begun the selection process,” Kim Eun-hye said in a briefing. As one of the world’s most wired nations, South Korea has more than two-thirds of homes connected to high-speed internet and more than nine out of 10 people owning a mobile phone.
