Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) announced the appointment of James Miner as senior vice-president, digital media. Miner will be responsible for further development and commercialization of ESS’ digital business as well as realising ESS’ plans to create a unified media experience across its digital properties compassing espnstar.com, espstar.com.tw & espnstar.com.cn; mobileESPN and STAR Sports Mobile. Miner will also oversee the further development of ESS’ digital product offerings and explore new opportunities in the digital space. Miner joins ESS from Group M, where he spent close to three years as head of creative services APAC and head of social media APAC. Based in Singapore, Miner will report directly to Manu Sawhney, managing director, ESS.
