Santa Clarita, CA – I Survived a Japanese Game Show – the US-ABC adaptation of the Big in Japan television format – cleaned up at the recent 49th 2009 Rose d’Or Festival, winning the Golden Rose trophy for Best Overall Show of 2009 as well as Best Reality Show. Additionally, the honors ignited sales for the format, picking up new agreements with UK’s Talent TV, Finland’s Aito Media and renewals with Endemol for eight countries. The Rose d’Or Festival is held annually in Lucerne, Switzerland and is one of Europe’s most prestigious television honors. The Festival recognizes programs produced and broadcast around the world.
