Kota Baharu – Mobile telecommunications network services provider, Maxis Communications Berhad (Maxis) will expand coverage to the whole of Kelantan by the year’s end. Maxis east coast regional head Mazlan Mokhtar said the company was in the process of providing the services, including to remote areas of the state. According to Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, Kelantan state local government, tourism and culture chairman, the government is always willing to extend its cooperation to any telecommunications company in enhancing coverage, through building new transmission stations throughout the state. Kelantan, through its subsidiary, Infra Quest Sdn Berhad, has always kept the doors open to cooperation with interested telecomunications companies, he explained.
